Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Sol app ("Sol", "we", "us"), operated by Endpoint Technology LLC, handles information when you use it. Sol is private by design: it works without an account, and your practice data stays on your device.
The short version
- You don't create an account. We don't ask for your name, email, or phone number.
- Your skills, sessions, streaks, and settings are stored locally on your device.
- We use privacy-respecting analytics and crash reporting to improve the app.
- We never sell your personal data.
Information stored on your device
Your skills, practice sessions, focus sessions, streaks, milestones, goals, and preferences are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to us and is removed when you delete the app.
Information collected through third-party services
When you first open Sol it generates a random installation identifier. It is not your name, email, or Apple ID, and there is no login — but because it persists across sessions, the data below is associated with it. Under Apple's privacy definitions this counts as "linked to you," even though it never identifies you personally. Sol collects:
- A device and installation identifier — the random ID above, used to associate the data below.
- Product interaction & usage data — which screens and features you open, to understand and improve the app.
- Crash & diagnostic data — to detect and fix stability problems.
- Purchase history — your subscription status, to unlock and verify Sol Pro.
Sol does not collect your name, email, contacts, precise location, photos, health data, or your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Analytics & crash reporting
We use Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to understand how the app is used (for example, which features are opened and where people get stuck) and to diagnose crashes. This helps us improve Sol and never identifies you personally.
Marketing attribution
If you arrived at Sol through an advertisement, we use AppsFlyer together with Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork to measure which campaigns are effective. Sol does not present a tracking prompt and does not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA).
Subscriptions & payments
Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage and verify your subscription status on our behalf. We never receive or store your payment card details.
How information is used
- To provide and improve the app's features.
- To measure performance, fix crashes, and understand usage trends.
- To measure the effectiveness of our marketing.
- To manage your subscription.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Information is processed only by the service providers named above, each under their own privacy policies: Apple, Google Firebase, AppsFlyer, and RevenueCat.
Children
Sol is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Your practice data lives on your device — deleting the app removes it.
- You can reset your data from within the app's Settings.
- Sol doesn't track you across other apps, so it never asks for tracking permission.
